Once upon a time there was a very young but intelligent girl called Lady Blue. Why is because she was so easily distracted. But they who really captured her interest could keep it for a very long time. Lady Blue was the kind of girl that everyone loved; she was so nice, so beautiful and so understanding. Not until the near end of her life I started to like her. Most the time of my life Ive hated her because of who she was, I felt jealous because she had everything I didnt. Of course Lady Blue had a name, everyone has a name. Her name was Fililae. Fililae Delaumont. Fililaes father came from France and his name was Pièrre Delaumont. Hed married an English woman whose name was Madeleine Portfer. Pièrre and Madeleine lived happily together and just before Pièrres death they had a baby girl Fililae. They named her after Pièrres long-dead but still loved, dog. How come you name your little baby girl after a dog? Well you see, this dog was up in the blue as well. Even though she was well-trained she mostly didnt listen to her owners command. But Pièrre didnt care, he still loved her.
Anyway, maybe I should tell you who I am. Ladies and gentlemen, I am Elisabeth Marker the daughter to a very rich man, Count of Portslade.
A little town south of London, west of Brighton and east of Chichester. Portslade is at the very south of England. At the harbor of Portslade was where I first laid eyes on Ms. Delaumont and her widow-mother. Fililae was 12 years old and her long, blonde and curly hair blew in the wind as she stepped off of her ship thatd sailed from a French harbor. She looked a lot like her mother Madeleine, but of course Madeleine was a lot older and already had some wrinkles at the age of 32. The reason Im telling you this story is because I feel like I owe it to her. You all know I saw her at the harbor, but it is not where the story begins. The story begins a week after that when she started school and got placed in my class.
